Latest Wedding at Crested Butte Wedding Resort

Congrats to Christy & Doug who married on the deck of Butte 66 and had their reception in the Trackers Bar in the Lodge at Mountaineer Square in Crested Butte. It snowed on Wednesday and Thursday before the wedding and started to snow again Monday after but the weekend was beautiful. Temps were in the 40s but the sun was shinning and there was blue sky with a sprinkling of clouds. Although the location for the wedding had to be changed last minute due to the snow, the bride and groom were in great spirits as the ceremony began.

Mountain Weddings

Mountain weddings are a beautiful, wonderful event. They can be more casual then city weddings, but just as amazing! The mountains are an amazing backdrop but you have to be prepared for all weather situations. I have yet to have a really high maintenance bride (cross your fingers) and maybe this is due to the laid-back setting they have chosen. Let's hope this is always true!

Here is my latest wedding in Crested Butte CO. It was a beautiful almost fall day on Mt. Crested Butte. There were some threatening clouds throughout the day but it did not ever rain. This couple was just a joy to work with. They were relaxed and having fun, especially with the wedding party shots.
